The certificates in UKAS standard layout are generated using our proprietary report engine. This provides an editable format so that our customers can change the report layout easily, but end users can be prevented from changing them by simple encryption. This reduces the need for us to be involved in making small edits on the report formats.

Pipette calibration

Pipettes need to be calibrated regularly in order to show that they deliver the correct volume. Our customers rely on our software to guide the user through the calibration process, read weights from the balance, store the data collected in a central database, and produce the final UKAS certificates.

GC and HPLC calibration

Gas Chromatographs and HPLC systems both need calibration to ensure that flows and temperatures are correct. NLG Analytical offer a validation kit designed to simplify and control this process. Aitken Scientific were commissoned to write the custom software which logs the test data, checks that the calibration has been performed correctly, and print the final UKAS certificate.
