Advanced statistical process analysis is now available in Europe thanks to a new agreement for Aitken Scientific Ltd to resell and support Comply’s Skyline product. Skyline provides web access to statistical data from across lines, sites and products, allowing essential quality and production monitoring. Companies in validated environments such as the biotech and pharmaceutical industries will find it especially helpful in fulfilling their GxP requirements.

Cambridge University use A-S Automate Automation Software Package

The Ley Groups' Innovative Technology Centre ( ITC, Department of Chemistry, University of Cambridge ) recently purchased A-S Automate, Aitken Scientifics' Automation software package. This will provide them with a flexible design and development tool permitting easy configuration and control of pumps, valves and I/O devices. Joint ELRIG and SBS meeting in Nottingham

Aitken Scientific exhibited at the joint ELRIG and SBS meeting at the East Midlands Conference Centre in Nottingham on the 2nd and 3rd of October 2007. This show was probably the best for viewing laboratory equipment this year in the UK.

ThalesNano launch H-Cube Autosampler

ThalesNano launched their new H-Cube Autosampler at the end of 2006. This system allows hydrogenation as the final step to automated synthesis and includes automation software created by Aitken Scientific. The system is available from ThalesNano to a worldwide market.
