Instead of buying new equipment, a change to ThalesNano’s H-Sampler system allowed existing equipment to be utilised, saving the client money, and also extending the market for ThalesNano’s product. Click here for a description of the H-Sampler product.

Due to the architecture of the underlying code, Aitken Scientific was able to relatively easily add functionality to control the Gilson 215 series and 233 model as well as the new GX271. This extends the market for the software as many of these older samplers are available at potential clients, saving them money.

When it comes to older software, it is often possible to extend the functionality without access to the original code.
